Google Maps shows this property today as "Dock Street - Capital Region Land Conservancy" and the dock appears to be well-maintained twenty years later in 2023 still.
Sprint 2: Visualizing Information (Non-quantitative), Part 1
Monday, January 16 - Sunday, January 29, 2023: As a person who is a visual thinker, I want an overview of tools and methods for organizing information such as written notes and images in ways that can help me make sense of it. This sprint is labeled as "Part 1"; there is no doubt I'll revisit this topic at least once more this year. Quantitative (ex. display of metrics and other data) is an entirely separate topic in the context I'm creating and will also be covered in future sprints.
A friend who does not approve of Boston Dynamics' robots recently posted a video (at the bottom of this post too) of their bipedal robot Atlas working at a "construction site," to a Facebook group we're in. Partly to troll him, but also because I think this isn't outside the
Richmond, VA was blanketed by snow in January 2003. Here are some pictures I took while walking around the Dock Street / Tobacco Row area on a sunny day, January 17, 2003 (20 years ago today).
